Overview of Aeon

AEON-T Composite Technologies is incubated by the Business Incubation Center of the European Space Agency (ESA BIC Madrid Region), and it’s the result of more than 5 years of technology development in an ambituous research project together with leading research institutions in Madrid: Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Institute IMDEA Materials.

Aeon was founded in London in September 2012 by Paul and Brigid Hains, an Australian couple.[2][3] It now has offices in London, Melbourne and New York.[1] On July 1, 2016, Aeon became a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission, in the categories of advancing culture and advancing education.[4]

Aeon, also spelled Eon, (Greek: “age,” or “lifetime”), in Gnosticism and Manichaeism, one of the orders of spirits, or spheres of being, that emanated from the Godhead and were attributes of the nature of the absolute; an important element in the cosmology that developed around the central concept of Gnostic dualism—the conflict between matter and spirit.

Aeon Metals’s Walford Creek project, located in North West Queensland has the potential to bring responsibly-sourced Cobalt to the global base metals supply chain.

Blockchain

AEON uses ring signatures to make transactions untraceable, meaning it is very difficult for blockchain analysis to determine if funds have been spent.

Network

This is the core implementation of Aeon.It is open source and completely free to use without restrictions, except for those specified in the license agreement below.There are no restrictions on anyone creating an alternative implementation of Aeon that uses the protocol and network in a compatible manner.

Support

Aeon allows for the collaboration between Faculty/Instructors and the special collection staff to coordinate and manage the use of resources in support of academic achievement.
