Edra produces and distributes around the world accessories for home furnishings which include sofas, armchairs, chairs, tables, containers, beds, as well as various chic accessories furnishings to be discovered in close collaboration with the best designers in the international scene: Franscesco Binfarè, Fernando and Humberto Campana, Leonardo Volpi, Cananzi and Semprini, Jacopo Foggini, Inga Sempé, Masanori Umeda, Alessandro Mendini, Zaha Hadid, Ross Lovegrove, Karim Rashid, Peter Traag, Ezri Tarazi and the touch of the master Massimo Morozzi.
EDRA welcomes submissions from the full breadth of environmental design and related fields, including architecture, landscape architecture, planning, urban design, interior design, lighting design, graphic design, place-based public art, environmental psychology, sociology, anthropology, geography, and the physical sciences.
EDRA’s members are at the leading edge of environment and behavior studies,evidence-based design, facility evaluation methods, sustainability, active living, participation, community planning, universal design, diversity in design, workplace design and informatics, design education, and digital technologies.
Edra was a housing rights attorney for the nation's first legal and civil rights organization serving low-income Asian Pacific American communities, where she represented plaintiffs in an affirmative fair housing litigation and defended tenants against evictions.
Edra has participated in the representation of individuals and corporations in state and federal investigations and proceedings involving allegations of securities fraud, insider trading, and violations of Sarbanes-Oxley and the False Claims Act.
Edra represented Italian excellence at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016 and Peyongchang, Korea, in 2018 and was Official Supplier of Casa Italia Collection – FISI at the Alpine Skiing World Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo 2021.

Edra’s greatest enjoyments in life were her two Grandkids, Shane (Jeanie)Bower and Brittany Smith and her three great grandkids, Jagger and Jett Smith and Regan Bower.
Edra takes its name from the Greek word exedra, meaning “a seat out of doors.” The term describes a circular bench structure designed for conversations and gatherings.

History of EDRA
In 1992, Binfaré was invited by Massimo Morozzi to design for Edra.
In 2015, the Florida Supreme Court ruled on appeal that the congressional districts had to be redrawn because of the legislature’s violation of the Fair District Amendments to the state constitution passed in 2010; it accepted a new map in early December 2015.
