History of EIDOS
In 1995, the company was acquired by Eidos and was merged with two other studios and renamed Eidos Interactive the following year.
In 2005, the company was taken over by SCi Entertainment and later Square Enix in 2009.
In 2009, the studio was acquired by Square Enix.
In 2014, images that I didn’t connect as being related started filtering into my feeds, on Tumblr, mostly, and even on Instagram a little bit as well.
In 2019, an airdrop called EIDOS began to congest the network.
On 9 November 2009, Square Enix completed the merger of its existing European branch with Eidos Interactive, renaming the resulting company Square Enix Europe.
