IRISnet is receiving a grant to complete a native integration of Chainlink on China’s Blockchain Services Network (BSN), enabling governments and enterprises in China and throughout the world to incorporate validated real-world data into their BSN applications in a highly secure and reliable manner.

IRISnet scrl brings together 122 principals, including the Brussels-Capital Region, the BRIC and the Brussels institutions that use this network (including communes, CPAS, minister’s offices, police zones and social housing corporations).

IRISnet, which aims to serve as an interchain service hub for next-generation distributed applications, confirms that China’s public blockchain network BSN recently launched the new BSN Global Portal.

IrisNet is a potentially global network of smart sensing nodes, with webcams or other monitoring devices, and organizing nodes that provide the means to query recent and historical sensor-based data.

Once this proposal passes, the number of active validators on the IRIS Hub mainnet will be increased from 100 to 108, which give more validators the opportunity to participate in contributing to the network security, further boosting the constant expansion of IRISnet ecosystem.The on-chain governance proposal about increasing the Maximum Number of Validators on IRIS Hub has been submitted on April 8.
