Paymon’s fellowship at UCLA, she completed her clinical internship at UC Davis Children’s hospital in the Child and Adolescent Abuse Resources and Evaluation (CAARE) Diagnostic and Treatment Center, where she specialized in infant mental health and complex childhood trauma treatment, with an emphasis on providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), as well as psychological and child welfare evaluations.

Paymon Rouhanifard previously served as the superinseement of Camden, New Jersey from 2013 to 2018 where he helped lead improvements in student outcomes, reductions in out-of-school suspensions, stronger family engagement, and critical capital investments in school facilities.

Paymon has a master’s degree in business economics and finance from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and nuclear engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
