RAMP

Overview of RAMP

  • RAMP (an acronym for Roy Ayers Music Productions) was an American soul/jazz band from Cincinnati, Ohio.[1][2] It was founded in 1976 by Roy Ayers, who was not a member of the group, though he did write and produce songs on their only album.
  • Ramp, Brex, Airbase, Divvy, Teampay and others compete for the custom of companies’ spend; the startups provide credit to businesses usually on a charge-card basis, collecting interchange revenues and, in a few cases, software incomes as well.
  • RAMP DeFi is a decentralized protocol that inseems to boost DeFi adoption by allowing non-Ethereum (ETH) users to stake tokens on ETH platforms; at the same time, Ethereum users can interact with the RAMP protocol and increase their yields.
  • RAMP’s five-year life span has now come to an end and we are returning to a pre-RAMP base level of advertisements, which we assume will be supplemented by SB267 project ads when that funding becomes available.
  • RAMP offers nurses support in receiving the appropriate treatment, closely monitoring recovery, working with employers and ensuring the nurses in New Jersey are providing safe, high quality care to the public.
  • Ramp is launching publicly today and has raised $25 million in funding from Keith Rabois, Coatue, BoxGroup, Conversion Capital, Soma Capital, Backend Capital and more than 50 business angels.
  • Ramp Cofounders Karim Atiyeh (left) and Eric Glyman (right) founded the fledgling startup just two years ago and launched it right as the pandemic started to spread across America.
  • Ramp-up of revenue began at the end of 2007 and amounted to gross SEK 18 million in products sold in 2008, with “a significant growth speed into 2009,” Ignis asserts.
  • Ramps are among the first plants to appear in the spring, typically showing up in the Appalachian region in mid-March and around the Great Lakes in early April.
  • RAMP held its first “Demo Day” at Virginia Western Community College last week, with each business given a number of minutes to share what it’s been doing.
  • Blockchain

RAMP DeFi allows the staked capital of non-ERC-20 staking blockchains to be collateralized into a stablecoin known as rUSD that is issued on the Ethereum blockchain. The main result of this is the maximization of capital efficiency on stacked digital assets, where users earn staking rewards, unlock liquidity from staked assets and stack multiple yield streams at the same time.

    Mine

Ultimately, Aryal said she hopes her research will have practical uses for farmers, helping them to determine if their land is suitable for growing ramps and the best methods to use.

    Network

Getting a hold of eGold (or any other supported crypto) is as easy as picking your local fiat currency (USD, EUR, GBP or other) and providing your eGold wallet address.Ramp is a solution integrated into many different wallets and services, you can also use it directly on our public instance at ramp.network/buy/?swapAsset=egld.

    Support

I love the sheer simplicity of Ramp for both users and developers. It can be instantly included in any app to support fiat on-ramp, while taking care of bridging the world of banking with decentralized finance, so developers can focus on building what matters to them with peace of mind.

    Transactions

All your employees can have a white Visa card for $0 per month. The company plans on making money with interchange fees — like all card issuers, Ramp will get a very very tiny cut on all transactions. The startup doesn’t charge fees. There are no foreign transaction fees and no interest either.

    ADA GUIDELINES?

We use ADA guidelines as a starting point for all ramp designs and installation.Click to learn more.

Are curved or circular ramps allowed?

Ramps without level landings at changes in direction typically will not
meet the Standards due to resulting compound slopes. This includes most
circular or curved ramps, unless the radius is large enough so that the
cross slope is compliant and compound slopes are avoided.Otherwise, the
curvature and slope result in uneven surfaces that makes wheelchair
maneuvering difficult because not all wheels rest evenly on the surface.

Are detectable warnings required on curb ramps or at hazardous vehicular areas?

Under the ADA Standards, which apply primarily to facilities located on
sites, detectable warnings are required at transit facilities (at curb
ramps and along open drop-offs of rail station boarding platforms).Specifically, the curb ramp requirements apply only to public
transportation facilities covered by DOT’s ADA Standards.Curb ramps at
all other facilities are not required to have detectable warnings.New
guidelines for public rights-of-ways issued by the Board will address
detectable warnings on curb ramps and other transitions along public
streets and sidewalks. In addition, DOT requires detectable warnings on
curb ramps in projects funded by the Federal Highway Administration.

Are side flares required at curb ramps?

The ADA Standards do not require that curb ramps have side flares, but
limit the slope (1:10 max.) where they are provided.Side flares are
advisable where pedestrian traffic may cross runs to prevent tripping
hazards.Side flares are essential in alterations when space for a top
landing (36” deep min.) is not available; in this instance, side flares
(1:12 max.slope) are necessary to accommodate wheelchair maneuvering
that will partially occur at flares in the absence of full landing space
at the top unless a parallel-type curb ramp is provided.

Can handrail extensions wrap or turn?

Extensions are not required for continuous handrails along switchback or
dogleg ramps or at aisle ramps serving seating in assembly areas. In
alterations where the required extension would project hazardously into
circulation paths, they can turn, be shorter, or avoided.Otherwise,
handrail extensions must be in same direction as the ramp run.

Can handrails be mounted to guard rails?

Yes, handrails can be installed on guard rails if all applicable
    requirements are met.

    Can handrails overlap ramp landings?

Along runs and landings, the minimum clear width must be measured
between the leading edge of handrails. This also applies to landings
required to be at least 60” by 60” where ramps change directions so that
the minimum landing area remains clear.

Can ramps be portable or provided after construction as an adaptation?

All required ramps and curb ramps must be permanent and installed at the
time of construction or alteration with few exceptions.Ramps can be
provided after construction only to provide access to raised work
stations in courtrooms (sufficient space must be provided in design to
facilitate installation).Only ramps serving temporary structures can be
    temporary or portable.

    How Does RAMP-up Work?

Qualified RAMP-up clients receive a SeattleU client account manager and resource team for a one-year engagement, which is renewable.  The RAMP-up team also offers these services to qualified nonprofits and other organizations that are currently servicing neighborhood businesses.  Student CRMs make a commitment for at least nine months.

How Is the RAMP Network Secured?

RAMP network collaborates with the Crust Network for secure on-chain decentralized data storage. As such, RAMP DeFi is an open finance project and has the potential to unlock liquidity from staked digital assets, allowing all users to collateralize their digital assets while locked in staking into liquid capital.

How Many RAMP (RAMP) Coins Are There in Circulation?

RAMP’s circulating supply is around 176 million coins as of February 2021, with a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 RAMP coins.

Is there a limit on the total length (number of runs) a ramp may have?

No, the Standards limit the rise of each run (30” max.), but not the
overall length of ramps comprised of multiple runs.Since the usability
of ramps decreases with length, considerably long ramp systems should be
avoided where possible.(Ramps in play areas are limited to a 12” max.rise).

Is there a maximum distance between ramp handrails?

No, only a minimum (36”) is required between handrails. The Standards do
not require center or intermediate handrails on wide ramps.

    What Do They Taste Like?

The flavor and aroma of ramps are often described as a combination of onion and garlic, with the garlic note particularly evident—strong enough that even ramp lovers will advise caution. They’re sometimes referred to by the nickname “little stinkers.” The green tops are milder in flavor and are often used along with the stronger-tasting bulbs.

    What is SeattleU’s RAMP-up?

Business driven, campus inspired, and community engaged, SeattleU’s Resource Amplification & Management Program (RAMP-up) is a unique, experiential learning environment that brings together minds and hearts on campus and beyond to work with underserved local businesses in Seattle’s Central Area and surrounding neighborhoods.  The SeattleU RAMP-up team, consisting of highly-trained students and coaches, works closely with these businesses and their service providers for one or more years so they can augment their own capacity to remain, grow, and thrive in the neighborhood. As Seattle undergoes rapid, dynamic changes, it is vital to preserve the social, ethnic, and economic fabric of these businesses, which has made the city such an attractive destination.

    What Makes RAMP Unique?

To efficiently power token exchanges between blockchain systems, the network takes advantage of liquidity on/off-ramp designs.Within this framework, the tokens that use a non-Ethereum standard are first converted into stablecoins called rUSD for use on the Ethereum blockchain.

What types of facilities are covered by DOT’s ADA Standards (and are required to have detectable warnings on curb ramps)?

DOT’s ADA Standards apply to facilities used to provide “designated
public transportation.” This includes transportation services state or
local governments provide the general public on a regular and continuing
basis by bus, rail, or other conveyance (excluding aircraft and public
school transportation).DOT’s ADA Standards also apply to intercity and
commuter rail stations.Curb ramp detectable warnings are required only
at these facilities.Detectable warnings are required at rail station
boarding platforms with open drop-offs at any transit facility,
including private sector transit facilities subject to DOJ’s ADA
    Standards.

Who Are the Founders of RAMP?

RAMP was co-founded by Lawrence Lim and Loh Zheng Rong. Before RAMP, Lim was the head of international growth at IOST and handled global sales at TradeGecko. He was also responsible for mergers and acquisitions at KPMG Corporate Finance LLC and asset management at JP Morgan Chase & Co.

Why are detectable warnings no longer required for all curb ramps or at hazardous vehicular areas?

In the last update, the ADA Standards were revised to focus more clearly
on facilities located on sites in recognition of separate criteria the
Access Board is developing for public rights-of-ways.The public
rights-of-way guidelines will address requirements for detectable
warnings due to hazards to people with vision impairments along public
streets and sidewalks. At facilities located on sites, various measures
can help reduce hazards, including reduced traffic speeds, marked
crossings with pedestrian right-of-way, and speed-bumps, and other
    optional traffic calming measures.

Why is a top landing required at curb ramps if side flares are provided?

A landing at least 36” long at the top of curb ramps provides room to
approach or exit ramps and turn without encountering compound slopes of
flared sides.Side flares are intended mainly to prevent tripping
hazards. They are not designed to accommodate wheelchair maneuvering
except in alterations where space constraints preclude a compliant top
    landing.
