Bugg

Overview of Buggs

  • Buggs began his career as a high school coach, leading Surry County High School (Va.) to a 14-0 record and state championship in his first season and was named the Region A Coach and VHSCA Coach of the Year.  He led Surry to the Region A Division I Championship in 2000 and led the team to the semifinals in 2002.  He produced a 34-14 record in his five-year tenure from 1999-03 and was also the school’s head basketball coach during that time.
  • Buggs guilty of the following offenses:  (1) possession with intent to distribute heroin on June 16, 1988;  (2) possession with intent to distribute cocaine on June 16, 1988;  (3) possession with intent to distribute cocaine on June 30, 1988;  (4) conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute heroin;  (5) possession of a firearm by a convicted felon;  and (6) using or carrying a firearm during and in relation to a narcotics offense.
  • Buggs (1) devised and entered into a plan with Perry to supply him with heroin and cocaine, (2) provided Perry with heroin on a prior occasion, (3) stated that the heroin he planned to sell Perry had been “overcut”, and (4) stated on June 30, 1988, that he would have the heroin for Perry that afternoon, accepted the $1,500 deposit from Officer Jones, and left his house in order to obtain the heroin.
  • Buggs was in charge of the running backs from 2004-06, mentoring Tony Hunt to one of the best careers ever by a Penn State running back.  Hunt rushed for 3,320 career yards ranking him third in school-history behind Evan Royster and Curt Warner.  Hunt rushed for more than 1,000 yards twice in his career and was a third round draft pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2007 NFL Draft.
  • Buggs led the safeties for a second-straight season in 2015, as Fellonte Misher and Justice Davila formed one of Conference USA’s top tandems.  Combining for 188 tackles, Misher and Davila finished second and third respectively, on the team in tackles.  Misher was sixth in C-USA with 99 tackles and tied for the league lead with four interceptions and forced two fumbles.
  • Buggs was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round (192nd overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft.[9] In his rookie season, he appeared in eight games and recorded three total tackles.[10] He was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list by the team on November 27, 2020,[11] and activated three days later.[12]
  • Buggs argues that he has not procedurally defaulted his Bailey claim because on direct appeal he argued that there was insufficient evidence to convict him of violating § 924(c) because “the government failed to prove that the alleged pistol was capable of firing any projectile.”  Buggs, 904 F.2d at 1075 (internal quotation omitted).
  • Buggs is correct that a population passing through an extreme bottleneck – and a bottleneck of two is as extreme as it gets for a sexually reproducing species – will on average retain a sizeable proportion of its heterozygosity (perhaps 75%, on average, if conditions are right).
  • Buggs was part of two 11-win teams while coaching the secondary and helped the Nittany Lions win a pair of bowl games, including a 19-17 win over LSU in the Capital One Bowl.  In all, he coached in seven bowl games at Penn State.
  • Buggs’s concerns were then picked up by the Intelligent Design community: they were featured by the Discovery Institute, shared by Stephen Meyer on Facebook, and thereafter picked up by a number of evangelical news agencies.
  • Breed

    Energy

For this reason, females are generally a bit easier to train, especially when they’re still puppies.Male Buggs tend to be a bit more stubborn and high energy during their teen years.Once they reach the age of three, they usually calm down and become more relaxed like females.

    Health

If you’re going to own a Bugg, be sure that you’re aware of what potential health issues may arise and how you’re going to take care of them. While the flat face and bulging eyes might be a cute look, it also comes with some inherent health risks.

    Obesity

Be sure to monitor your Bugg’s food intake. If you provide them more feed than needed, they’ll likely still eat it.On a lighter note — no pun intended — Buggs love to eat and are known to overeat if given the opportunity. While all animals are susceptible to obesity with prolonged overfeeding, Buggs are more likely to develop this condition than most.

    Personality

A breed that’s as adorable as dogs get with an energetic personality that’s always ready to play, Buggs can provide excellent companionship.Take care to train and socialize them early so they don’t become territorial or stubborn. They bond closely with a single person but love everyone, so they’re great for families.

    Social

Boston Terriers are known to be territorial of their owners and environment, and the Bugg dog can often display the same behavior.Dogs often take on the traits of their parents. If they do, it will be very hard to break them of it later. If you get a Bugg, you’ll want to train them early on and socialize them with many other people and pets so that they don’t develop that territorial streak.

    Training

Be sure to begin training Buggs early as they can develop a stubborn streak like Boston Terriers if they’re allowed to.It may require a lot of patience and determination. You’ll need to be firm but positive with your Bugg.

    How Do I Fish It?

There are lots of possibilities when you’re fishing a Flats Bugg. When you’re sight casting you can swim it in front of the fish, bump it along the bottom, or just let it sit there and look alive. The same goes when you’re blind casting, although I tend to think swimming it along while giving it a little jigging action will do the trick most of the time. When you’ve tipped it with bait, you’ll want to move it slowly or not at all.
