Miniature Pinschers come in 4 recognized colours – Clear Red, Stag Red, Black and Rust (or Black and Tan) and Chocolate and Rust (or Chocolate and Tan).

Barking

In 1958, a man named Werner Jung became the champion of the breed by managing to bring a female German pinscher from East Germany into West Germany.

In 1884, the first standard for the Pinscher was created but did not become popular due to outbreak of the World Wars.

In 1895 the Pinscher club was formed and he was shown in his first dog show.

In 1912 the United Kennel Club registered the Smooth Fox Terrier at all its sizes but in the mid 1920s some people requested that the smaller version be allowed to be separated as a different breed.

In 1918, Berta orchestrated the merger of the Pinscher Klub with its rival, the Beyerischer Schnauzer Klub.

In 1919, the Miniature Pinscher was introduced to the AKC show ring.

In 1930, Miniature Pinschers were reclassified as toys.
